SAFEGUARDING

SAFEGUARDING INFORMATION

Safeguarding Statement

Sophie Hayes Foundation has a duty to care for the people who use our services and for our staff and volunteers. We recognise the right of every individual to stay safe and strive to ensure a safe and supportive workplace for all. We have a strong commitment to the protection and welfare of our participants as vulnerable adults.

The welfare of all of our participants, staff and volunteers is paramount, and everyone, regardless of age, gender, race, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnerships and pregnancy and maternity.

What do we mean by safeguarding?

Safeguarding is about ensuring that people and organisations take proactive steps to effectively keep everyone we work with safe from harm, abuse, and neglect.
