The modern slavery support system has significantly changed since the Programme's development and the introduction of the Modern Slavery Act in 2015.

To meet survivors where they are, and to continue to provide transformative support to empower them to where they want to be. Since 2023, we’ve worked with survivors and referral partners to understand support pathways inside and outside the NRM. Using these insights, we have  adapted our programming to provide support that is accessible to survivors whatever stage of their journey.

Following feedback, we have developed a pre-Employability Programme English support course, CEFI. The focus of this course is on practical conversational English skills to support survivors in achieving greater independence.
