VOLUNTEER
We’re so grateful to every single person who volunteers with us to support the women who join our programmes.
From weekly co-facilitation to 1:1 support as needed, it all makes a huge difference as we work together to break cycles of exploitation. Interested in joining us? We’d love to hear from you! Below are some of the key ways to be part of what we do, but we’d love to hear from you if you have any other ideas that aren’t listed here.

Volunteer for our Employability Programme
Our Employability Programme (EP) has been working with women to build knowledge, skills, and confidence for nearly 10 years! Volunteers have always been co-facilitators of our online, weekly group sessions. If you are interested in volunteering as an EP facilitator, click below to email us for more information!
Volunteer for CEFI
CEFI is our 6-week conversational English course created to give opportunities for women to practice their English and build confidence prior to joining the EP if they choose to do so. Click below to email us for more information and to volunteer!
1:1 Support
There are several points in the EP that are more focused on 1:1 support – coaching sessions, CV writing, and Reflection and Skills check-in sessions. If you aren’t able to make a weekly commitment but would still like to be involved, please get in touch!
Fundraise
We’re so grateful to the volunteers who support us through raising funds – every penny counts! Not sure what to do? We’ve got you! Click below for some fun ideas for you, your family, or your community to help raise essential funds to change someone’s future.
Every woman deserves the opportunity to live a life of freedom and independence. With your support, we can make that a reality. Volunteer for the Sophie Hayes Foundation and help empower women to transform their lives and rewrite their futures.

Offer Your Skillset
Do you have a specific skill to share with the survivors at Sophie Hayes Foundation? Whether it be IT, HR, management skills or hospitality, we'd love to hear from you. If you don't see a role you are interested in, contact us and let's talk.
Volunteering Criteria
We are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and welcome applications from adults aged 18+. Due to the sensitive nature of our programmes, we only accept female applications for all roles directly supporting women survivors. All roles directly supporting women survivors also require a DBS and mandatory safeguarding training.
